Starfishing in Atlantic

Just one ride on the Ta;bot Island Greenway with grabbers and  gloves.the overworked rangers say Thank you so much.

Two bike circles around the island. The first for speed. The second for garbage and we found lots of it. Two bags full. I am beginning to love/hate Busch  beer. It is easy to spot the bright blue in the underbrush. It is hard to imagine that folks who seek out this sacred isle, then fling beer cans. The feathers were the island's spirit gift to me.

Because I saw a grade B movie in Jonesboro, Ga when I was 9,The Black Hand has always represented to me a misuse of power.  How can any hands heave plastic straws, cups and caps into the environment? Sadness.

How bizarre. Green strapping tape removed from the Selva sidewalk reminds me of the eels I saw in Tokyo. When I inquired about their origin the owner said something in Japanese that made my daughter-in-laws eyes widen. Vivi , she whispered, these eels come from Green Cove Springs....30 miles from our home. Sad that we have water around us suitable for developing such delicacies and we allow plastic pollution.
